PS 166 Art Fair 2025 Information
Annual PS166 Kid’s Art Fair:
Wednesday, May 21st, 6-8PM, school cafeteria
What to expect: For those of you who are new to PS166 this year, this is the first reminder, to save the date, or sign up to volunteer. Our Annual Kid’s Art Fair is truly a special evening to celebrate in your young artists achievement. This is a fun family event, and is usually super busy right at 6PM when doors open.
Each student has created a piece of artwork that is showcased in a mat and is framed. The student’s artwork is on display for all to see. The frames are sold at $30.00 each, (the artwork is the child’s no matter whether you purchase the frame or not, and unpurchased unframed works will be sent home roughly two weeks post show). Prior to the show, you will be given information on how to pre-purchase the framed work; this helps expedite the check-out process. You may also purchase the framed work even if you can’t attend the show. We will pull the frames and they will be sent home with the student a day or two after the show. The only way to purchase the frame is with a credit or debit card. Checks, nor cash, will be accepted.
Looking for parent volunteers:
- I am in need of parent volunteers to help with set up, (4-6PM), sales, (6-8PM), and clean-up, (8-9PM). (I need at least four adults for each time slot)
- During set-up and clean-up, we cannot have students in the cafeteria due to safety concerns.
- all students are welcome from 6-8 during show hours, but must come with their adult.
- Due to space limitations, strollers are not permitted in the cafeteria.
